CMP also offer a range of cable cleats that are both comprehensive and diverse, designed for use within industrial areas and hazardous locations, as well as specialist applications such as railway and underground, oil and gas, and petrochemical. They are tested in accordance with IEC 61914:2009 to ensure that, regardless of the cable formation used on the installation, there is a suitable cleat.

ASIATEC carries a wide range of CMP cable glands which are currently used in every of ASIATEC’s projects. It can be used anywhere where there is a cable entry.

In most projects, many cables are often involved. Our expertise is to assist our customers in choosing the right cable gland size.
It is suitable for the Oil & Gas industry, Marine & Offshore industry and any other industries that are hazardous and require the need for a sealing and terminating device to ensure that the characteristics of the enclosure which the cable enters can be maintained adequately (i.e. protection against gas or heat).

We also recommend our services to contractors who have encountered problems with their workers on the proper installation of explosion-proof glands on site. Our collaboration with CMP enables us to provide on-site/hands-on training for customers to ensure that they know how to go about doing the right installation. Upon completion of training, these customers will be given a certificate by CMP.

CMP cable cleats are designed to ensure the retention and support of cables and conductors, reducing the load that the cable may be exposed to under its own weight. By ensuring the cables are fixed, retained and supported correctly this also protects all of the cable terminations by reducing the mechanical load exerted on them.

CMP cable cleats are also designed and tested so that in the event of short circuit fault conditions, they will contain the cables without causing damage; enabling the circuit to be restored once the fault has been rectified. CMP cable cleats are used mainly in the railway and underground transportation, oil & gas and petrochemical industries.
